Why Go Green?

Traditional Cotton Vs. Organic Cotton
Cotton crops account for ¼ of the all pesticide use, making them the most pesticide-dependent crop in the world. In the US, this accounts for 50 million lbs pesticides a year. These chemicals pollute watersheds and deplete soil.

Organic cotton is grown without the use of harsh pesticides. Instead, natural fertilizers and pest control are used to ensure that there is little negative environmental impact.

To Dye for
Platisol inks, although affordable, contain phthalates, PVC’s, and other chemicals/solvents which are harmful to the environment and our health.

Water-based inks are completely non-toxic, and do NOT require the use chemicals to adhere to fabric. Instead, they are combined with soy and citrus based products; and since the ink is water based, it does not require solvents for cleanup…just a little H2O.
